Happy Birthday NPS
Lyrics
A contrafact of the New Orleans tune “Li’l Liza Jane” written to celebrate the centennial of the National Park Service. Recorded at Studio in the Country on a wonderful 9 foot Baldwin grand piano.
This song features the talents of myself on piano and vocals, Joe Stolarick on tambourine, rangers from the New Orleans Jazz Historical Park.
A song written in the style of Paul Simon about the lighthouses found at Point Reyes National Seashore. I wanted to capture the calm and serenity that I feel near the shore and the connection that one feels with light.
This song features the talents of myself on piano and vocals, Simone Brown on vocals, Michael Harris on bass and vocals, Matt Hampsey on guitar and Joe Stolarick on drums.
Hikin’ in the Hoodoos
Lyrics
A song written about the hiking in the Hoodoos of Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. This song was inspired by the big band dance swing of the mid to late 90’s. We wanted to create something that would make Cab Calloway proud.
This song features the talents of myself on piano and vocals, Brian Hoover on vocals, Michael Harris on bass and vocals, Matt Hampsey on guitar and Joe Stolarick on drums.
Denali Snow Patrol
Lyrics
Denali Snow Patrol is a song inspired by dogs of the Denali National Park up in Alaska. The mushing likened itself to the push of bluegrass music, so we sought to create something that honored that tradition.
This song features the talents of myself on guitar and vocals, Michael Harris on bass and vocals, Matt Hampsey on guitar and Joe Stolarick on drums.
